About the role:

The Product Manager will play a critical role in helping us build our technological future as we strive to improve internal processes and better serve our customers and partners. The role sits within our “Service Center” team, supporting the operations and growth of multiple country offices. The Product Manager will work with teams across technology, insurance operations, contact center operations, partnerships management, and business development to understand the changing needs of the business, gather requirements, implement solutions, communicate project statuses and make proposals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Work closely with designers, developers (both locally and remotely) and subject matter experts to get requirements well-scoped, designed, tested, and built.
  • Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with the development team.
  • Quality assurance testing on new and old features.
  • Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure.
  • Train users on new features and the systems in general.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with new features.
  • Analyze user needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.
  • Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product area, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product innovation.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Key Qualifications & Your Profile:

  • Bachelor/Undergraduate degree with excellent grades.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a dynamic product management role. Start-up experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
  • Experience in performing quality assurance on software.
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management and an excellent team player.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, juggle multiple tasks, think independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and problem-solve.
  • Strong project management skills are a plus - delivery and action-oriented.
  • Experience applying agile methodologies.
