About the Role:

The Partnerships Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and other key personnel within Turaco’s partner companies. The demands and scope of this role involve all phases of partner stewardship: including onboarding; partner stewardship; solution delivery; reporting and renewal. This role is required to work collaboratively across the organization to coordinate and facilitate the internal services required for partnerships success at Turaco.

The successful candidate will support strategic partnerships to extend the reach of Turaco to target customers in dedicated regions; extend exposure; increase uptake of Turaco’s products with targeted partners while at the same time enriching ownership of the product on the Partners’ side. They will work closely with the Partnerships, Products, and Marketing teams to create a value proposition for our customers and partners.

Success, as it pertains to this role, is measured by how many end consumers Turaco acquires through any given partnership.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management

  • Develops high-value partner relationships at the executive level with assigned local partners and coordinate with other internal teams to do so when needed.
  • Demonstrate market expertise and a deep understanding of partners’ end-users to drive company and partners’ decisions on products and solutions.


  • Makes sure that all partners receive regular reports and updates from Turaco
  • Makes sure that all data related to assigned partnerships is accurately reported and captured appropriately into our in-house system, TACO.

Business Development

  • Be ceaselessly client-facing
  • Proactively identify business opportunities to cultivate and grow new business from existing partnerships
  • Develop and implement effective account/territory plan strategies to provide focus and maximize revenue growth.

Partnership launches

  • Support the growth team to translate new partnership SLAs and launch plans into action
    • Manage all end-to-end pre and post-launch activities of newly onboarded partnerships.
    • Develop and implement communication and reporting protocols
    • Establish premium collection processes with partners, by integrating with their technology or billing practices.

    Pilot Management

    • Project manage pilots with new and existing partnerships
    • Create pilot schedules, create KPIs, and reporting protocols
    • Help in training and managing pilot resources, field teams, and call center resources
    • Responsible for ensuring pilots are launched on time, reach key milestones, and ultimately transition to scale.

    Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience required for this Position:

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any business-related field.
    • Senior-level experience in managing multisector, high-value B2B2C partnerships, built on a strong relationship management capability.
    • A highly collaborative and proven team leader with strong people management skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
    • A strategic thinker and a pragmatic executer with proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market plans.
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
    • Insurance knowledge is a plus.
    • Ability to create and take part in marketing initiatives.
