About the Role
The Commercial Analyst looks after two key areas of the Commercial Division; Reporting & Communication and Data Analysis for account management and business development.
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and her team the role holder will be responsible for aggregating commercial data from commercial teams in each country and the service center (shared services) and transforming the data to insightful information for reporting and communicating to partners and for product and customer journey improvement.
This role is perfect for a generalist who is a proficient project manager, good with numbers, and a strong writer and is looking to grow into a strategic commercial leader.
Commercial Operations
- Pulse-checking all partnerships to ensure existing customer journeys and products are serving the needs of the partner, customer, and Turaco.
- Project managing problem solving and solution implementation of any issues identified with partners.
- Support the running of A/B tests for product changes and customer journey iterations.
- Using data, support the customer operations and the customer experience teams in ensuring customer success in each country and partnership.
- Consolidating data from the commercial and other teams into information that communicates key metrics like revenue (GWP), country P&L, and pipeline value among others.
- Orchestrating partnership launches after deal closure pulling in different teams and project managing the process. This is especially true for partners in multiple markets in which Turaco operates.
Reporting and Communication
- Overall responsibility for the reports and communication built for the Account Managers in each country.
- Build dashboards and reports that can be shared with the leadership team and our partners’ senior points of contact.
- Lead the development of ad-hoc partner and BD materials requests from other members of the commercial team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any business-related field.
- A 2-year Management Consulting Background is ideal for this type of role, or a background in Commercial Ops.
- A highly collaborative project manager with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- An executor able to problem solve on the go and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
